I visited France in Christmas time, it was even more romantic, Paris and Versailles. Paris is the capital and most populous city of France. Since the 17th century, Paris has sometimes been referred to as the capital of the world. See why.
It has been one of the world’s major centres of finance, diplomacy, commerce, fashion, gastronomy, science and arts. Museum Louvre is a place that I want to live in; history, most famous art in the world, you just can’t process the amount of beauty around you. It was my target one to visit.
It was rainy, which made my experience even more romantic, as I’m rain lover.
For 130 years, the Eiffel Tower has been a powerful and distinctive symbol of the city of Paris, and by extension, of France. It was my second target to see. As my hotel was nearby, I was seeing it every day and made bunch of photos, but I’ll share my favorite ones with you.
Of course, I had to see Notre-Dame de Paris, meaning “Our Lady of Paris”, a medieval Catholic cathedral on the Île de la Cité (an island in the Seine River). The cathedral is considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture.
Everywhere you look around you have something to see, or capture. Gorgeous city.
I also visited Versailles, renowned worldwide for the Château de Versailles and the gardens of Versailles, designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Incredible and perfect.
Traveling in France, especially Paris and Versailles, is something you do not want to miss in your life.
