CZECH REPUBLIC TOUR

I went to Czech Republic tour. As nobody of my friends weren’t able to go with me, I went alone. It was Christmas time, and I didn’t regret. I will start with Prague, wondering why?

Prague, the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic, was also historical capital of Bohemia. On the Vltava river, Prague is home to more over one million people.

Chilly winters, snowing for days, I could feel true Christmas spirit.

Prague is a political, cultural, and economic hub of central Europe, with a rich history and Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture, so if you are travelling to see some architecture, you have different styles there.  Since 1992, the historic center of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The city has more than ten major museums, along with numerous theaters, galleries, cinemas, and other historical exhibits.

I decided to continue my road trip, so I went to Český Krumlov, as locals recommended me to visit it.  And I had something to see.

The complex of Český Krumlov Castle is one of the largest in central Europe with an area of 7 hectares (17 acres). It is formed by forty buildings and palaces, situated around five castle courts and a castle park. It is relatively unique in that it is surrounded by a moat filled not with water, but with bears.

The historic centre with the Český Krumlov Castle complex is protected by law as an urban monument reservation. It is cure gorgeous town surrounded with river. Since 1992, it has been a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its well-preserved Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Locals were wright, picturesque place, indeed.
